Build A Player

Build A Player is a free, browser-based basketball player builder game that puts you in control of crafting a unique superstar. You select legendary traits from iconic players—each choice fills an attribute while removing that player from future rounds. Once your build is complete, an original simulation engine runs an 82-game season to produce a record, stats, awards, and a playoff run. The game offers two modes: Build a Hooper, for a balanced all-around player, and Build a Bucket, for a pure scorer. With no signup required, a daily shared challenge, and deterministic results, it's designed for fast debates and repeat runs. The project is independent and fan-made, with original ratings and no official league affiliation.
